Description
A redo of one of my old replicas. This has been sitting completed for about 2 weeks now. There was supposed to be a video but I didn’t know what to showcase so here it is.
Note: Rotodome does not spin; decoupling things inside fairings is a big no-no.
Note no.2: Engine fanblades don’t spin either. Refer above for reason.
This full-scale replica comes with:
-Variable-deflection trailing edge flaps
-Almost-full-length leading edge Krueger flaps
-That little fillet flap attached to the wingbox and inboard flap.
-Flying saucer
-honestly nothing else impressive
-aesthetic?
V-Speeds
Vr - 60m/s
VTD - 60m/s
Vf - 100m/s
Regarding the Flaps
As usual, extended by [K] and retracted by [I].
That little fillet flap part is actuated by Bendy-Techâ„¢. This means it’s not very strong, so maximum flap deflection is until Deploy Angle 0 regardless of speed. If it does pop off, set [Same Vessel Interaction] of the Elevon hidden inside to [No], reset deploy angle to maximum and turn SVI back to [Yes].
A stock aircraft called Boeing E-3D Sentry. Built with 638 of the finest parts, its root part is HECS2.ProbeCore.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.9.1.
