Description
Since my building skills have changed since I last uploaded a 747-8, I decided to redo it. Needless to say I think it looks better and flies better too, at the cost of only 400 extra parts.
In an effort to reduce part count, crew cabins are sold separately.
Doors are inspired from Kronus’ door design. Mine are nowhere as clean tho, but it will be improved in the future.
Wing flexes. This means that within design speed limits, it shouldn’t break. Warranty void if flying over design speed limits.
Vr- 70m/s
VTD- 80m/s fully fueled
VTD- 60m/s near empty
Vne- 250m/s
Butter landings (<5m/s). Landing gears are about as compressible as rocks.
Deploy directions may be inverted, so change if needed.
A stock aircraft called Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental. Built with 636 of the finest parts, its root part is HECS2.ProbeCore.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.7.2.
