Description
Anti-climactic new upload
Since Breaking Ground has robotics, I decided to give flaps a shot. As it would turn out, the actuators are rather weak. I also made the mistake of choosing the 733 to build (ahem, triple-slotted fowler flaps). This adds a lot of drag, so keep the engines above 66% when flaps are down.
Can cruise at 8250m.
V-speeds
Vr- 70m/s
VTD- 65m/s
Vfe- 100m/s
Don’t put the flaps down above 100m/s, or it will ‘break’.
Flaps also have thrust gates, they should be pointed up.
AG9- Flap retraction
AG10- Flap extension
Deploy directions may be inverted, so refer to images.
