Description
The Loggerhead is a heavy lift, high volume cargo SSTO capable of carrying large payloads to interplanetary destinations. Special attention was paid to part placement to allow for the fuel loadout to be easily reconfigured to suit specific mission profiles. All of the Mk3 fuel fuselages can be swapped for LF+O with just a couple of node snaps. The version in the download file is optimized for long range missions with somewhat lighter payloads. With more oxidizer on board, she’s able to lift over 600 tons to LKO at a 40% payload mass fraction.
A stock spaceplane called Loggerhead. Built with 420 of the finest parts, its root part is adapterSize3-Mk3.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.5.0.
She comes standard with a full complement of mining/refining gear as well as an airlock in the ventral opening cargo bay amidships.
