Backstory
Under the original code name BAD-T Plane 1, Snowpiercer saw many changes over it’s 11 iterations. Originally designed based on the unnamed and mostly paper design of the Daimler Benz DB Jäger, with the intention of utilising the Jäger’s unique prop layout. While the DB Jäger housed it’s massive V16 engine in it’s nose, like most traditional aircraft of the time, Snowpiercer instead, is equipped with a pair of radial engines located behind the cockpit. This configuration helps push the centre of mass further back compared to traditional fighters, while still maintaining the other benefits of push-pull aircraft configurations. However, this engine configuration created other issues, which resulted in the unusual wing design and placement. Over time, Snowpiercer began to take the on a more late/post war British look, taking influence from aircraft such as the De Havilland Vampire and Gloster Meteor.

While my BAD-T II design is no longer usable due to version updates, Snowpiercer was however built in response to the many issues of Ne Fx2 D1. Snowpiercer is only 1 to 100 kg above the minimum dry weight required for a heavy fighter. This is in stark contrast to Fx2 D1, which was 2680 kg above the dry weight requirement for a non-heavy fighter.

Much like the Fx2 D1, I do not expect it to get very far in the tournament, however I do hope it will do much better than last time. So long as the AI doesn’t for get what the I in AI means.
