Description
The S-plane, with its minimalist 7 parts, was built in the SPH, in KSP 1.12.3.
VTOL-plane mix.
Press P
to open the Kerbal’s parachute, which acts as a lifting surface.
Landing usually requires climbing a km or two, with the parachute cut, then powered landing.

Flight Instructions
The S-plane flies like most other aircraft, except for take-off and landing, which are done vertically to avoid needing wheels (for some reason).
To launch, just set the throttle to max and wait until you’re about 10 meters in the air. Then you can open the Kerbal’s parachute (by pressing P
) and start pitch down, to switch to horizontal flight.
To land, you should climb (to gte rid of horizontal velocity), cut the Kerbal’s parachute, and then play with the thrust to make the plane slowly descend. On landing, beware! If the plane tips over, it’s a pain to put it back in a more or less vertical position.
