Description

DRILmate 6250 is a self containted mining rig in a small package. Built for the needs of one hard working Kerbal engineer, he, or she, will have no problems making a career with a ConvertOtron 250 fed by 6 drills and 3 small radial ore tanks. Reliability is 99% guarenteed with 9 active medium radiators and a skin of radiator panels. Power is provided by 12 fuel cell arrays, again for reliabilty at the cost of efficiency (some solar panels included in case of dead fuel cells). Running in overdrive (modes 1,2,3 active) is only sustaintable untill the three small ore tanks are depleted. Equipped with Docking Port and Docking Port SR or adaptability. Dont forget to pick up a DRILmate iRocket Tank and iBooster Pack (not included). Monoprop conversion toggled on manually.
Updated bi-directional crossfeed technology from the iBooster Pack. Inward and slight outward vectoring engines have reduced risk of fire damage to payloads of older models.
Update: Landing legs collision with cargo bay fixed. Spring and Damper set to 0.05/2.00 respectively. Should support full tank and not explode on landing now.

Low: 3 only, efficiency mode 125% conversion rate
High: 1+2 only, high drain on ore
Overdrive: 1+2+3, extreme drain on ore

A stock rocket called DRILmate 6250. Built with 140 of the finest parts, its root part is cupola.

Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.4.2.
