Description
Apulu Lander is designed for an Apollo style Mun landing. The MK2 acent vehicle has been upgraded over the original. Ascent Module now equiped with narrow-band scanner and Magnetometer, as well as Thermo, Baro, Atmo, Grav, and Seismic sensors. Also has EVA science and repair kits on board. Upgraded from Spark to Terrier engine with both docking port in back and docking port junior on top if you want to bring a rover or probe. The Ascent stage is designed to be left in orbit as a narrow band scanner RA-2 relay. The Descent stage is designed to be left behind as a stationary science beacon, It is equipped with 6 sensors and 1 experiment (Thermo, Baro, Atmo, Grav, Seismic, Surface Scanner, Goo). Also has all Breaking Ground cargo experiments in radial cargo holds. Transmission is provided by a long range HG-55 direct antenna. Aerospike and retro rockets provide suicidal suicide burns.
