The Lone Wolf is CMAU’s most successful Cargo SSTO ever built. Propelled by four powerful J-61 Advanced Turboramjets and twin Dark Drives, this amazing, VTOL capable SSTO is able to reach orbit with over 13 kilometers per second of delta-v!
As a result it has become the go-to SSTO design; becoming the staple of CMAU’s space program. Designed to take on cargo once in space and haul it to other planets, this impressive plane features a monster cargo bay and an opening tail section!
Featuring a 2.5 meter docking port inside the cargo bay, this amazing SSTO can haul everything your hearts desire practically anywhere! KJR insurance is a must, though, or the cockpit has the bad habit of detaching from the rest of the plane when switching between it and other vessels. IMPORTANT VTOL TAKE OFF INSTRUCTIONS: If you want to take off in VTOL mode, hit full throttle, use the action groups to toggle VTOL mode, but when you want to move forward, you must activate the jet engines and Dark Drives using the space bar. DO NOT use the action group until you have started the engines on their own, as it toggles the intakes as well. Dark Drives recommended for atmospheric as well as vacuum maneuvers. Otherwise, enjoy hauling stuff all over your galaxy with the impressive Lone Wolf!
