CMAU Incorporated proudly presents for your military campaigns the most heavily armed VTOL for its size, the one and only Asterion! Absolutely bristling with missiles, this impressive VTOL carries 22 AIM-120 AMRAAMs, 22 AIM-9 Sidewinder Missiles, 8 ‘Vulcan’ 20MM machine gun turrets, and one CBU-87 cluster bomb. Capable of playing the role of both fighter and bomber, this is one VTOL you don’t want to get on the bad side of. This little VTOL may not be fast, but it can land anywhere, fly straight up, stop and turn on a dime, fly sideways, and is even capable of flying backwards stably! It can fly steadily no matter how many missiles you’ve fired, and is capable of high precision bombing, featuring a deluxe radar system capable of locking on to two different targets at once. Looked on as a prime example of what you can do with the already very popular Grasshopper, this powerful little craft is just the thing to accompany and defend that slow caravan of tanks and supply trucks that you never can seem to keep safe.

Designed with safety in mind, the pilot is almost guaranteed to survive any crash, since the cockpit is in the precise middle of the aircraft, meaning that the rest of the craft is protecting him. Jeb is widely held responsible for the sheer quantity of missiles on the craft, but he claims it was the engineer’s idea, that he merely okayed. Some believe him because nobody recalls the last time Jeb was responsible for anything except for a wrecked Space Center or explosions. Either way, this craft is capable of taking out just about every airplane ever made, just because of how may missiles it can rain down on it. PILOT’S NOTE: If taking off or flying in VTOL mode, afterburners are required at least until the cluster bomb is dropped.
