Happy birthday, Tirpitz!
This is the German Battleship Tirpitz (my favourite boat!). Sitting at 21,179 parts in the legitimate file, she is the largest craft I have made thus far in part count and size (251m * 36m, therefore 1:1). I consider her a vast improvement over Prinz Eugen thanks to her actually receiving her proper AA equipment. She experienced actually very few corruptions along the way, although I took an 5 month long break making her, and only finished up the superstructure recently, even if she turned out well.
The Bismarck-class Ships
They existed I suppose?
Large, undergunned for size, inefficient gun layout and propeller layout and an armour layout only useful for WWI standards or cold war standards.
Bismarck couldn’t sink a destroyer and blew up Hood after a 1 in 1 million shot and promptly got sunk by the force of half the Royal Navy.
Tirpitz sank a fishing boat accidentally and then bomber Harris got his way with her (poor lass).
