Description
The A-10A was a hard sell: not only is it highly resistant to exploding, but it doesn’t even have solid rocket boosters. It wasn’t until the engineers of Fairingchild Republik pointed out how many explosions you could make out of other vehicles that interest really grew. Equipped with many of the finest, slightly-used munitions found under the road to the airshow, the A-10 is for the daring Kerbal out there who is never afraid to look high and low for new ways to make explosions.
Fairingchild Republik is also fond of claiming that it looks like a Puma, but refused our calls when we asked them what that was.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 0.90.0. Compatible with FAR. Note, Mod Mapper doesn’t recognize it as a separate mod, but this plane needs the B-9 Procedural Wings.
Version 2 changes: wings and wheels adjusted to better match the real thing. Fixed a bug where forces exerted by the wings on the wheels often destroyed the wheels, making plane difficult to take off with.
