Description

An engine testbed with an interesting story. This plane was originally built as a GB-90B for the military but was retired from service shortly after. It was converted to an engine testbed for various contractors after a 2 year stay in storage. On it’s maiden flight after it’s new modifications, it was heavily damaged in a landing accident. The aircraft was repaired with components of other GB-90s and continues to serve to this day as an engine testbed, with crewmen referring to it as the ‘Third life’. This aircraft is designed to allow any propeller engine to be mounted on the nose, simply remove the 0.625m decoupler in the nose and substitute your own engine.
