In 2019, a Chinese-funded military research lab was created in Greenland. It’s name is 零下 (Lingxia), and began immediately on plans for versatile vehicles that would meet the new demands of the current times. Plans for 松鼠 (Songshu) were complete in 2025, and by 2032, Lingxia had successfully made an 8 engine VTOL vehicle that could be used for all purposes. The most common military uses for Songshu were: troop transport, supply transport, and ambulance. Songshu was used mainly for military, however, after it had become successful, it had begun use for transporting people in and out of Greenland, as it was more efficient than using an airplane. By 2049, there had been 276 Songshu built, and were in service until 2057, newer designs rendered it obsolete
