Description

The Dassault Mystère II (or M.D.452) is the direct evolution of the M.D.450 Ouragan, and was the first French-designed plane to break the sound barrier. Compared to its predecessor, its wings and general aero surfaces are swept more, allowing for better aerodynamics at high speed, and its fuselage is elongated.
