The McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet is an all-weather, twin-engine, carrier-capable, multirole combat aircraft, designed as both a fighter and attack aircraft (hence the F/A designation). Designed by McDonnell Douglas and Northrop, the F/A-18 was derived from the latter’s YF-17 in the 1970s for use by the United States Navy and Marine Corps. The Hornet is also used by the air forces of several other nations, and formerly by the U.S. Navy’s Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels.

This Replica features relatively realistic characteristics and is like its real counterpart very agile. It can reach speeds of Mach 1.6 in level flight, but it takes its sweet time to get there. cruising speed is around Mach 0.8 to 0.9 without External loads.

AtmosphereAutopilot (https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/124417-180-1123-atmosphereautopilot-160/) is highly recommended. If you want the most realistic experiance set the G-Limit to 9 and AOA Limit to 45 - 60.
Using this Plane without AtmosphereAutopilot can break the setup of the Control Surfaces!

Downloaded Craft includes wing pylons as well as external tanks.
