Description

One of many variants of the North American F-86 Sabre (also known as the Sabrejet), they were the United States’ first swept-wing fighter that could counter the Soviet MiG-15 in dogfights during the Korean War. This specific variant, the F-86A, set a world speed record of 670.9 mph in May 1948.
