Built to scale pretty much as close as I can get it. I didn’t really want the part count to get as high as it is but when it got to around a 2k I decided to just make it 2018 parts :) . I had to take some creative liberties in order to make it work with some sense of consistency. The hinges are good but not perfect so don’t say I didn’t warn you. I suggest you not jerk the landing legs very much or you’ll have a bad day. I engineered the hinges to be strong but they’re still by far the most delicate part of the system since each has to be small and still look goodish. If you want to launch it:

AG3 will retract the strongback. The strongback should fall back then dock with the large docking port(give it a couple seconds to fall into place). If it doesn’t dock you’ll have to revert to launch and try again since the hinges will pop out. Also I put some air breaks on the pad to tip the strongback if it doesn’t fall on its own but you shouldn’t have to use them.

AG2 is then used to launch the rocket (decouples rocket and activates the engines). 2018 BE THERE!!!~SpaceX Web cast guy circa 2017(I think)

AG1 will undock the landing legs which will fall into place on their own. Be gentleish; decelerating at full throttle and decoupling the legs will probably not end well….

If you can land all the boosters you’re a legend in my book but you’ll probably need an ASDS to do that. Also I put a roadster in the fairing. :D

Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.3.1.

landing legs pop out in 1.4. (working on fixing that). still looks cool though
