Description

High performance Bf 109 replica. Accurate engine startup with engine sound & exhaust. Has underwing cooler with actuating cooler flaps as in Bf 109 F/G/K versions. Airplane adjusts trim automatically.

Take-off instructions:
Recommended to activate flaps. Set throttle exactly to 2/3, then hold D and E until the tail is off the ground. Afterwards, if the plane is on the left side of the runway, one can simply hold D until lift-off. If it is in the middle of the runway, repeatedly tap D & E to keep the wings level.

Landing instructions:
Fly a landing circuit ( https://imgur.com/12DjgdQ ). If one is parallel to the runway and not too close nor too far away, your altitude—when beginning to descend—should be 700-750m AGL. Deploy flaps, the gear, and reduce throttle to one minor step above 1/3, then turn onto the diagonal leg. The goal is to fly the landing circuit at a constant 60 m/s. At the start of the diagonal leg, the speed will be above 60 m/s, so one can keep the nose pointing towards the horizon until the speed naturally reduces to 60 m/s. To maintain the speed—which is the most crucial thing—one can pitch more/less and adjust the throttle. When close to the runway gradually perform the flare maneuver. If you find yourself quite high above the ground once you finish your flare, do not fret! Immediately increase the throttle setting so as not to stall; thereafter, attempt to gradually descend & touchdown, otherwise, increase the throttle for a go-around. For beginners, it is recommended to touch the ground with the main wheels at 45 m/s, cut the throttle and immediately pitch up so that the tailwheel touches the ground. For advanced pilots, keep the plane slightly above the ground while your speed bleeds off. When the airplane crosses 45 m/s, cut the throttle with X key and pitch up so as to stall onto the runway with your belly. During this maneuver, beware that pulling the stick too hard will increase torque effects and that will likely cause a crash.

Press 1 to toggle engine
Press 2 to toggle flaps
Press 3 to toggle steering
Press B to reset suspension. This can help if the plane is not level prior to take-off
