Cuzican Aerospace’s official first Single Stage To Orbit design! Official, because we’re not counting any of the previous multi-stage designs that were overpowered and thus putting whole launch assemblies into orbit. No, this is intentional. We want this to come back in one piece. Preferably, close to home.¨¨The SpaceY Edition has landing legs designed with stage recovery in mind. They are long, strong, and remarkably light for their size. The resulting lighter rocket doesn’t need as many chutes as the stock version, and is thus even lighter–and has improved delta-V and a slightly higher Thrust-To-Weight ratio.¨¨It also has launch clamps from SpaceY can which hold the rocket securely, letting us use less clamps, lower to the ground.¨¨We’re sticking with the rating of 8 tons into a 250 km orbit, but really, you might be able to do a bit better. IF you’re Jebediah Kerman. (Jeb made us say that.)
