Description
Aquilla 1 is a 13,000 Delta V ship designed for long range missions. This multi-stage system is intended for flights to Jool and its moons, and has the potential for landings on Low G bodies. SRB’s and a Rhino lift the ship off the pad, and a standard 100ms/15 degree prograde arc will allow for a clean gravity turn. After SRB seperation all that is required is some throttle control on the Rhino to fine tune arc angle.¨The third upper stage is used to push the ship out of Kerbin SOI with any slack taken up by the mission stage
Nerv motor. The additional liquid tanks placed radially should be retained for landing attempts before jettison. A suite of advanced science experiments are included as part of the return capsule to ensure safety duing re-entry
