Description
This craft is the stand-alone detachable plane from the KLF-101 D, featuring a Vertical TakeOff and Landing system. Before we launched the whole shebang, we figured we better test it by itself to make sure it actually works. Shockingly, it does.
Due to the limited space available on the airframe, we didn’t have enough room to put the intakes. So, in a flash of brilliance, one of our intrepid engineers said Hey, why not put an intake INSIDE an intake?! Someone else promptly slapped him, but then we decided to give it a shot anyway.
Amazingly, it works. The eggheads tell us that it has something to do with quantum vortex wind tunneling or some such nonsense. We’re calling it voodoo magic. Either way, it does the job.
Info
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.3.0.
