When Valentina mentioned to our engineers that her daily commute on a Korely Motors motorcycle just wasn’t exciting and dangerous enough, we put our heads together and came up with this incredible machine. Combining a motorcycle chassis with two functional scale engines from our wind tunnel testing facility produced a bike that anyone would be insane to ride. As such, Valentina loved it, and her daily commute time has been reduced by 95%!
We’re not sure exactly how she controls it at speed, or keeps it from going airborne, but she’s arrived here in one piece since she started riding it, so we have to assume that she has some kind of Jedi power or amazingly good luck to still be alive.
One item of note, the landing legs are actually used to stand the bike up if it tips over, as the curb weight is almost 340 kg. They also let you park it safely, which is about the only time that particular adjective will be used while describing this vehicle.
Our scientists tell us that the rear wheel exists in some kind of strange quasi-tire quantum state, where it actually functions as two wheels, each in its own property of
spin. We have no idea what they’re talking about, so we’ll stay away from that section and let one of our quantum mechanics change the tires when needed.
In case you’re wondering, there isn’t any particular reason why it’s named
Jetbike III. There definitely aren’t two other prototypes in existence. Well, not anymore, anyway.
Lev Aerospace - if we don’t kill you on the job, we’ve got other ways to get the job done.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.3.0.
This bike only uses Tweakscale, but in order to launch with a pilot, you’ll need the TakeCommandContinued mod by the magical mod messiah, linuxgurugamer. I also use Kerbal Joint Reinforcement, but again, it’s not required.
- Type: SPH
- Class: rover
- Part Count: 35
- Mods: 2
- Squad (stock)
- TweakScale - Rescale Everything!
