Description
A stock aircraft called CG-P1. Built with 29 of the finest parts, this one’s fun. Even though it runs on a single Juno
powerplant, the CG-P1 sailplane has a large range, great stability and responsiveness, making it a great plane for just some fun. At a mere 29 it’s also very easy on your computer, which should allow for less lag, if any.
The fairing in the rear is not staged and only houses 2 Mk0 fuel tanks (one in the front, one in the rear, also serves as engine mount) so feel free to add more, but you may see the single Juno isn’t enough.
True story with this craft, I had hit the full throttle button on the runway and went for a break, came back 10 minutes later and the thing had autopiloted itself to a cruise altitude of 9.5km. The plane was generating a mere 0.08 TWR but was still happily cruising around at about 130m/s.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.3.1 by Coolstorm10.
