Description
A mod aircraft called Emerald-Class Multipurpose SSTO: Razorback Mk. II
. Built with 116 of the finest parts, its root part is B9.Cockpit.S2.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.0.4.
Good news! We were able to recover two more designs that were originally sold under the KKAE banner, and we’ve tweaked them up to be compatible with present-day technology! (1.0.4 KSP) The Emerald-class line of spaceplanes is definitely on the other end of the spectrum from the Adamantium-class, and the Razorback is no exception. When we were originally approached to design this spaceplane, Jeb said that he wanted something small and sporty
, but also able to give Bill and Bob plenty of legroom, plus be able to carry supplies into orbit. The specifications were difficult, but well-worth the wait. With the power of the SABRE-S engines, the craft quickly gains a TWR of over 1, and boasts maneuverability to contest Jeb’s Jet. The perfect choice for space enthusiasts, budding SSTO pilots, or suppliers who need to bring crew and cargo into orbit. All for √107,000. Get it while it’s hot!
Flight Profile:
*The main concern with the Razorback is thermal heating. There’s more than enough fuel to get you nearly anywhere you want to go in LKO, and it’s forgiving enough to be stable throughout the flight. Just keep your temps within a safe range, and you’ll get to orbit with plenty of fuel to spare.
