Description
Mk2 update: added gigantor panels to get max dV from ore in orbit, more fuel tanks, deleted extra fuel cells and batery, rearranged attachments and rebalanced, enlarged booster to easily reach Mun. Note: right click cab, control point forward for launch or drive and control point up in space. Use 5
to change flight/ drive modes after landing.
Some very stupid and courageous Kerbals asked themselves why some rovers need separate lander contraptions and why some land on a rear engine and tip over and break their wheels. Why not just put the engine on the bottom and land on the wheels??? They have built 4 smaller prototypes, carefully designed to maintain balance of the mass on the thrust line as the fuel and ore levels change and were almost driven insane trying to figure out the nav ball orientation for both flying and driving. Now they present the Kombine. It is complete with ISRU, fuel cell arrays for night operation, science gadgets and a crew of 6. Intended for Duna or smaller, it’s been to Minmus so far. It can haul 3000 ore but not recommend to launch from Duna with ore- probably won’t reach orbit. Booster and fuel load designed to reach Minmus.
