Description
There’s a problem with the thermal radiators. In this example there is 1 drill needing 100 kW cooling, 2x small thermal control system with 50 kW cooling each. First pic shows when the drill and these 2 TCSs are running, the drill maintains the ideal 500K. All good. Next pic shows a convert-o-tron needing 200 kW cooling and a large radiaor panel on an adjacent fuel tank that does provide 200 kW and convert-o-tron stays at 1000 K. All good. Pic 3 shows everything activated and the drill overheats. Doesn’t make any sense. I think the priority is wrong. The heat source should use available thermal panels first and then TCSs second.
A stock rocket called ISRU thermal bug. Built with 16 of the finest parts, its root part is probeCoreHex.v2.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.9.1.
