Description
The KD-314 was an old passenger seaplane that saw use throughout the world. This aircraft was built with Prop-engines, times changed and the aircraft was put into storage. We found it and decided to use it for crew recovery from capsules that splashed down in the ocean. This aircraft has been given the nickname of the Great Flying White Whale.
Sounds about right, because it flys like a whale since it is a boat afterall.
Took part in a circumnavigation of Kerbin where it earned the name Spirit of Kerbin
on Dec.7, 2020, on a live stream.
