presents Lothar, a return to underwater tech for our company. Named after Lothar-Günther Buchheim, author of Das Boot, a great novel adapted into the best submarine film (and arguably best war film) ever made.

However, other than the name, Lothar is not a warship, but a workhorse. With massive Kerbal capacity and the ability to process its own fuel, Lothar is completely self-sufficient as long as the snacks hold out.
NOTE: Use vertical thrust to nose up or keep Lothar firmly on the bottom. Lots of action groups, so check the list.
