I had the good fortune to live in Russia from 1996 to 98 and fell in love with the Hydrofoils (Raketas and Meteors) that plied the Volga. See photos below…
This Hydrofoil is named after the Russian painter,Ilya Repin. I thought of his painting Barge Haulers on the Volga
and how much better we have it now. See painting at the bottom of the images.
It turns pretty well, but you may want to keep the pitch up while turning. Pitch controls the levelers, and yaw controls the rudder. You may want to tweak the levelers to suit your style.
