K.R.A.S.S.H. Industries (Klapaucias Reliable Air, Space, Sea & Hardware) are beyond ecstatic to bring you Harry. The original plans for this Rover
were thought lost in the great harddrive fire, but thank goodness for backups.
Originally designed to compete in the Breaking Ground Walker Speed Challenge
https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/184892-breaking-ground-walker-speed-challenge/
Harry managed to run the entire course (¼ of the KSC runway) in a blistering 15:43. (Yes, 15 minutes). See video below for the sped up highlights.
The competition version has now been upgraded and adapted to exploration, with ample room for additional crew.
As with our earlier Forrest Rover (https://kerbalx.com/Klapaucius/Forrest) Harry is part of our SL.I.P.s philosophy of rover construction: Slow, Inefficient, Pointless. Truly an engineering wonder.
Action groups 1 starts the motor. Increase/decrease speed as per normal with shift/ctrl
Turn using A and D
Action group 4 toggles the ladders for access to the cupolas. 5 toggles the lift to get your main pilot Kerbal into the cockpit. The lift runs on a continuous loop with a slight pause at either end, so tap 5 again to toggle it off.
Named after Harry the Poisonous Centipede by children’s author Lynne Reid Banks.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.11.2.
