Description
A stock aircraft called Flying Wing Stanislaw. Built with 36 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark2Cockpit.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.5.1.
Named after the great Polish science fiction author, Stanislaw Lem. Carries one pilot and four passengers. Not as nimble as Ursula or Octavia, but good for picking up stranded Kerbals.
On takeoff with stability on, the plane should get off the ground on its own without doing any more than throttling up.
Make sure you have a very gentle incline on approach, especially with full tanks. You may find you glide a very long time before getting on the ground. Don’t rush it. You want to be landing around 50 meters per second.
NOTE: It comes with Panther engines, but you can swap out for Wheesleys. Obviously, it will not go as fast, but the thrust reverse option coupled with the low stall speed means you can do much shorter landings.
