The Elena is cheap. 2268 Funds and only eleven parts. Taking a cue from the successful test of our experimental autonomous Sepratron powered Poe craft (https://kerbalx.com/Klapaucius/Poe-Sepratron-Microlite), we have completely eliminated the landing gear.

We have learned that landing gear is an unnecessary option that just adds weight and expense. Nothing a good I-beam cannot accomplish equally as well. Yes, it has a tendency to scoot all over the runway, and takeoffs have a 50% fail rate, but so far, the pilot has survived every time.

Any pilot who manages to get airborn will delight in the easy and nimble handing.

TO FLY: It has a tendency to want to skid sideways off the runway. Sometimes it is worth starting it at low power and letting it get a bit turned in the other direction.

IN FLIGHT: The control surfaces are set in takeoff mode. However, once airborn, use action group one to lock the front wing. You may also want to right click on the elevators and reduce the authority limiter to about 5%. Keep it higher for stunt flying.
