Description

A stock aircraft called KVADRAT-MA. Built with 467 of the finest parts, its root part is roverBody.v2.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.12.5.

The modernization was carried out by Alevkurp OJSC (Minsk) together with OJSC 2566 Radio-electronic Weapons Repair Plant (Borisov).

The combat assets of the updated air defense system - SURN 1S19 and SPU 2P25 are placed not on a tracked chassis, as was the case in the basic version, but on a wheeled conveyor MZKT-6922 (6x6 formula). For the first time in MZKT practice, not a frame, but a body (“car”) chassis was created. The welded body is made of steel sheets with built-in reinforcing elements. The MZKT-69221 chassis is capable of moving on all types of roads and explored terrain.

In addition to the fact that the basic tracked chassis was replaced with a hull wheeled chassis MZKT-692230, the new air defense system introduced a chassis leveling system based on hydraulic supports; the gas turbine generator set was replaced with a diesel one, with an additional backup generator powered by the chassis internal combustion engine; a digital control and monitoring system for the power supply system was introduced; the antenna column leveling control system has been modernized, using new optical sensors for roll, frame angular position and a digital control system; the control compartment is equipped with automated workstations based on computers and specially designed control panels; electronic units and components located in the base tracked vehicle are not used during modernization.
