Description
We choose to go to the Moon in this deCAYDE and do the other things…not because they are easy, but because they are HAHD!
¨¨Now with fewer mod dependencies! HGR, MRS, RLA, SpaceY.
A mod rocket called Uranus V. Built with 154 of the finest parts, its root part is Mark1-2Pod.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.0.5.
Note that this rocket will not complete its mission without SMURFF, Simple Module adjUstments for Real-ish Fuel-mass Fractions
, to make fuel tanks, engines, and capsules as light as real-world rocket parts. In fact, I built and launched the Uranus V to test the most recent (v1.2) revision of SMURFF before making a release.
While the root part is the Mk1-2 command module, it is better to control from the radial control panels during launch – otherwise, the heading can oscillate out of control as the rocket flexes!
