Description

The Driftwing is a sort of hang-glider looking aircraft. I would actually consider this a trainer aircraft despite its unorthodox shape. On the Driftwing, the main control surface has a limiter of 30. But you can crank it up to daredevil / Evel Knievel style if you want. On takeoff the Driftwing is a bit weird. Despite you pulling up, it won’t budge, until it gets up to speed. Then it will pull up hard to about 45 degrees. Then you’re free to fly. Landing is a bit of a pain because the front wheel bounces up and down but you can land smooth at around 40 m/s. Besides that, it handles like a dream.
