Description

A mod ‘aircraft’ called Elevator Test. Built with 71 of the finest parts, its root part is probeCoreHex.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.1.3.

In order to properly use this elevator, you need to staff a Kerbal in the capsule. Before launching, set all the winches to Extend on ActionGroup1, Retract on ActionGroup2. When you launch, you put the Kerbal on EVA and grab the connectors from the winches and attach them (via the undocked option) to the matching connector ports on the sides. Once they’re attached, open the GUI through the right-click menu and stage the separators. Now you should be able to use the Extend/Retract buttons (or the ActionGroups) to move the elevator up and down.
