Description
Recreation of air launched Stargazer/Pegasus rocket. Carrying the CYGNUS smallsat mission.
Control surfaces on Narwhal (rocket) are disabled for flight, enable pitch, yaw, roll, before sep. Sep at alt ~7500m speed 240m/s in level flight. Let Narwhal fall for ~5s before lighting SRBs, after lighting pitch up dramatically.
In Stock KSP you have to choose between the plane or rocket, without mods it’s not likely you’ll get the rocket to space AND land the plane due to auto cleanup of debris under 25km.
A stock aircraft called KSA L-1011K Snackgazer + Narwhal. Built with 196 of the finest parts, its root part is solidBooster1-1.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.2.2.
