ES-20 SORT (Surface/Space Observing and Reconnaissance Telescope) is a polar orbit space observatory. Its primary missions are to survey and map the entire planetary/moon surface with its high-resolution optics, scan for resources at specific spots with its narrow-band scanner, and generally support surface operations as an eye in the sky. It can also act as space-based astronomical telescope, e.g. for observing neighboring moons in the Jool system.
It’s equipped with Sentinel telescope, thermometer, barometer, GRAVMAX and narrow-band scanner. Has ~300m/s dV for limited orbit adjustment.
Root part is the 2.5m decoupler. Control point is on the RoveMate with flag. Adjust solar wings as you wish, or modify it with BG robotic parts. It fits into a slightly expanded 3.75m fairing in current configuration. Action group 4 extends everything.
