ES-20+ SORT II (Surface/Space Observation and Reconnaissance Telescope) is a multi-purpose orbital observatory for supporting surface missions as an eye in the sky. It can also be used as an infrared telescope for detecting asteroids.
Design Notes
- It’s a remastered version of the ES-20 SORT with numerous redesigns, most notably with its optical assembly and sun shield. Inspiration comes from Roman, Hubble, Spitzer and some other space telescopes.
- I edited the Baguette tanks to hold monopropellant instead of rocket fuel, because I think they fit here better than RCS tanks.
- It’s easily possible to add mod cameras into its secondary mirror to make it
functional
