I’m proud to introduce my newest monstrosity. After building all sorts of whirly-things in KSP I decided it was time to put my expert knowledge to use in building something that can answer the all-important question: Will it blend?
If you have not already had nightmares over this thing, you should know that this was actually inspired by a real life combat robot which at least happens to be much smaller. This is the best functioning replica I could make in KSP.
It uses an absolutely gigantic 600 reaction wheel torque powered spinner! That’s over twice the amount of power one of my Kestrel motors produces for my fastest prop planes! On top of that I put in a lot of effort strengthening it to deliver massive exchanges of kinetic energy without breaking. Enjoy!
