Unlike other fighter aircraft designed and produced by Kerbatros Aviation, the Mobula featured only a modest powerplant of a combined 60 units of reaction wheel torque (compared to the whopping 120 units of a Kestrel engine). As the result of a highly streamlined airframe, the Mobula was still capable of cruising just under 200 m/s. As a fighter or performance aircraft, the lightweight construction (under 5 tons) paired with the sleek design made up for any weaknesses in engine power.
