The Kerbatros Dash-5 is a revolutionary turboprop airliner with superior performance to its predecessors, especially compared to the Dash-4. Under 1km, the Dash-5 boasts a cruise speed of 220 m/s, comparable to many jet powered airliners. The Dash-5 however maintains the benefit of excellent fuel economy provided by its turboelectric Kestrel M5-120 engines. So excellent that it can manage a range over 3000 km and an endurance of over 2 hours.
Alt+Q/E controls the throttle of the engines, Action Group 9 toggles engine power on and off, Action Group 10 engages feathered propeller pitch mode optimized for high speed cruise. The plane starts in takeoff propeller pitch mode by default.
