Description
The Japanese answer to the Axiom Station
, it is a revived 2nd version of JAXA’s future platform based on HTV technology. It uses the first HTV which contains storage and a gyroscope, plus ISS-heritage radiators and solar panels. It was created after MHI and IHI saw that the latter was being built. So, after repurposing the future platform into the Kōsoku Hoshi
space station, Japanese for quick star
, it would be launched into orbit onboard an H3 rocket, followed by a few more modules from Europe and America. It also provides competition to Tiangong, for scientific research onboard Kōsoku Hoshi
. This is far better than Axiom’s space station and the Tiangong space station, bringing the best of JAXA’s former future platform with the ISS’ technologies. This will go according to plan if it’s launched on a Vulcain rocket, or the Omnidroid rocket-derived Daring Do-V rocket.
Based on both the canceled future platform by JAXA, the current ISS, and the ATV MSS.
Vulcain belongs to ULA, and the Omnidroid rocket (of which the Daring Do-V is derived) belongs to Disney/Pixar.
Daring Do (the namesake of the rocket) belongs to Hasbro.
The concept is also based on the upcoming Axiom Space Station.
A mod rocket called Kōsoku Hoshi. Built with 224 of the finest parts, its root part is HTV.ServiceModule.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.12.5.
