Description
A modified version of my Large Laythe Jet, capable of reaching a 100 km Laythe orbit from the Laythe surface with 2000 m/s to spare. It contains enough fuel to make 2 round trips to orbit on a single tank. It can also shuttle 1375 units of Oxidizer and 3300 units of LF to a 100 km orbit. Mining equipment allows it to refuel in under a day, and fuel cells plus a single RTG guarantee unlimited electricity. This version contains science equipment, but that can be easily removed if not desired. Just like with the Large Laythe Jet, the wing is mounted on a hinge and can rotate 90 degrees for easy storage into a fairing.
To fly, take off and set pitch to 10 degrees. Upon reaching 1500+ m/s, toggle NERVs. Note the 2 nervs leave it a bit underpowered, requiring a longer than standard burn.
