Description

A plane for getting science from Jool, equipped with rockets to return to orbit. Has a top speed of 400 m/s and max altitude of 135 km. Wings fold for easy stowage into fairings.

Flight Profile

1. Deploy and lock wings before reentry
2. Toggle motors with 1 and use main throttle to control blade deploy angle
3. Watch electricity - it has enough RTGs to maintain power at cruise, but at low speeds you may need to decrease motor RPM (Translate L/R) to prevent the craft from running out of power
4. After doing science, collect all experiments into the experiment storage unit
5. Turn off motors and establish a gentle glide
6. EVA the kerbal and board the seat which is in the fairing
7. Decouple the science parts by staging
8. Re activate the motors, and climb as high as you can - at least 135 km, and on a 90 deg heading
9. Decouple wings by staging twice
10. Activate engines with staging and fly off - there is enough fuel for a low (220 km) Jool orbit.
11. You will need a separate return or refueling capsule - remember to take the science with you!
