Description
“Dongmeng” is second spacecraft series from Woomerang Design Bureau. Built upon lessons learned from the “Valentis”, the Dongmeng series is equipped with a large service module, fully functional RCS that allows orbital maneuver, and a disposable habitation capsule that allows Kerbalnauts to travel in comfort..
The SaX-type are equiped with LFO and LV-909 “Terrier” engine, which allows Dongmeng to reach high altitude space stations and even act as a Munar/Minmus transport.
In order to save RCS fuel, an electric Reaction Wheel system was added, making docking easier.
To launch the Dongmeng SaX, Woomerang Design Bureau enhanced the Ladle launch system in order to launch the heavier spacecraft. Changes include slightly lengthening of the core stage, and a new second stage powered by an efficent LV-T91 Cheetah engine
