Description

A stock aircraft called Boing Boing. Built with 13 of the finest parts, its root part is probeCoreOcto2.v2.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.12.5.

This ship? rover? paraglider? who knows? takes advantage of glitches in landing gear to bounce very high, then deploy your chute to glide far distances!

Someone tell me if this thing works on the Mun or Minmus, or maybe Laythe?

Instructions

Read fully or else boing boing will crash crash!

This is a bit hard to fly. There is a basic sequence to it. Before you start, enable SAS and pin your Kerbal’s right-click menu. That way you can deploy the parachute quickly.
1. Sit on flat ground with gear stowed. Deploy the gear. You will bounce.
2. When you get to the highest point, you can deploy the chute. If you want to go higher, bounce again to gain altitude.
3. Stow gear and land somewhere. REPACK CHUTE!
4. Repeat.

KSC, we have a problem: If you find yourself in the air without a parachute for some reason, you can still land safely. You have to do basically an MLG by stowing your landing gear right before you hit the ground, so that the legs are halfway out as you’re hitting the ground. Usually it will save you.

You can turn it on its side with gear stowed and roll if you need to move a little bit.
