Description
A fictional French-Italian twin-engine maritime-patrol and light-attack aircraft, the Mistral was developed in the late 1980s as a cooperative venture between France’s Dassault Aviation and Italy’s Piaggio Aerospace. The Mistral features a twin-boom rudder arrangement supporting a high elevator, all mounted to an inverted gull-wing assembly. The Mistral features a conformal fuel tank beneath the fuselage, and mounts on the wings for weapons hardpoints.
