Description

A mod aircraft called Dragon-Class Chaser ‘Spacelab’. Built with 61 of the finest parts, its root part is M2X.BladeCockpit.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.12.5.

A small but versatile spaceplane. When fully fuelled, it has a vaccum delta V of 4km/s. Designed to operate with 3-4 kerbals, it can take up to 12 if needed. It has two docking ports (one Jr Clamp-O-Tron on the rear and one small Linear Grip-O-Tron from Near Future Construction on the belly) to allow the plane to be moved by other vessels as well as enabling docking with other spacecraft. It contains almost every stock science experiment as well as a lab to maximise the value of these experiments. Electrical power is supplied by 2 large RTGs from Near Future Electrical. The craft also contains a set of 4 landing legs to allow vertical landing on bodies without an atmosphere (not recommended). The plane is also equipped with low-thrust RCS thrusters for fine manuvering. Engines have increased thrust in denser atmospheres regardless of atmospheric composition (useful for planets like Eve).
